MANDARIN

(Citrus reticulata)

Mandarin is a refreshing yet calming essential oil. It is a great choice to use with children and can be blended with lavender for added soothing properties. Mandarin can also make a good skin care oil because of its antiseptic and moisturising qualities.

Aromatic Profile
This essential is sweet and citrusy and blends well with other citrus oils like bergamot, lemon, lime and neroli as well as spice oils like cardamom and clove.

Uses
Mandarin can be used to address skin issues such as congestion, acne, spots, oily skin and may help to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. This essential oil can support the treatment of insomnia and restlessness because of its mild sedative qualities and can also help soothe nervous tension. Lastly, mandarin can be used to promote healthy digestive functions and assist in treating dyspepsia (indigestion) and hiccups.
