JASMINE

(Jasminum officinale)


Jasmine is an intoxicating and sensual essential oil that is considered to be an aphrodisiac. It appeals to both men and women and can enhance confidence, promote positivity and elicit feelings of euphoria.


Aromatic Profile
Jasmine smells intensely rich, floral and exotic and is extensively used in perfumery. It blends well with rose, sandalwood, clary sage, ylang ylang and all citrus oils.


Uses
With antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory actions, jasmine can assist with relieving muscle spasms, labour pains, aches, joint pain and sprains. Inhaling jasmine essential oil may relieve depression, anxiety and nervous exhaustion. In terms of skin care, topical application with a carrier oil helps soothe irritated skin and can be used on sensitive and dry complexions as well.
